Description

Job Summary

The Baker will design, execute, and improve recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products, use icing, glazes, fillings, and decorations to enhance item presentation. Bakers use their understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create baked goods. Knowledge of bread making and baked goods are a plus! They love to move fast and juggle a lot of different things at once. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and has exceptional communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares high quality meals for residents
  • Cleans and maintain main kitchen area
  • Meal preparations for the next day
  • Controls operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Orders and Maintains food stock par levels
  • Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
  • Responds efficiently and accurately to customer requests and complaints

 

 
Position Requirements

Position Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees and supervisors.
  • Experience managing others in a fast pace, customer service environment.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and pre-planned events.
