Show demonstrated success working on multikilogram scale organic chemical syntheses; reactors larger than 100 gallons preferred. 2. Perform steps in chemical reactions in strict conformance with established manufacturing procedures. 3. Record accurate reaction notes, making observations throughout the processes. 4. Maintain a meticulous work environment, returning all equipment to the appropriate storage location, cleaning all tools, equipment, and surroundings after use. Knowledge of 5S practice is preferred. 5. Maintain meticulous inventory logs of raw materials and finished product. 6. Conform to applicable safety regulations including the proper handling of chemicals and use of all designated safety equipment and PPE. 7. Collect and discard chemical waste in accordance with applicable internal, safety and regulatory requirements. 8. Accurately maintain waste and disposal logs. 9. Have ability to stand on feet greater than 50% of the day. 8. Must complete forklift operator certification training. Must be able to operate a forklift safely. 9. Have working knowledge of computers, internet, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office. 10.
