The Court Administrator oversees the operations of the Municipal Court and Teen Court Program and oversees, coordinates and manages the daily operation of the City of Lone Tree Municipal Court. This position supervises Municipal Court staff, determines daily works assignments of Court staff and supervises special projects assigned to Court staff. The Court Administrator position works collaboratively with other City staff to improve organizational processes with innovative thinking, continuous improvement, and demonstration of our core values of Excellence through Integrity, Collaboration and Innovation.
Serves as a member of task forces, committees and teams as assigned. Represents the City in the public and to other agencies as assigned. Special projects as assigned. Performs related work as assigned by supervisor.
Works under the general supervision of the City Clerk and/or Deputy City Manager.

Ability to effectively lead staff.

Must have the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment, e.g. copier, fax machine and personal computer.
Experience and Training Guidelines
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Minimum qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Three to five (3-5) years progressively responsible experience in Municipal Courts or a legal setting.
Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
