Share Email Opening Title Pavement Marking Technician II TRAVELING (Grand Junction, CO)  Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Driver's License Required Available to travel all over the State of Colorado in a company vehicle up to 2-3 weeks at a time We train you to be a part of the Pavement Marking TEAM and provide the safety training and equipment TRAVELING positions we provide housing (hotel) and $35 per day per diem when you are traveling for RoadSafe Also, provide housing (hotels) for your traing week as well Starting pay $ 20.00 per hour with no experience Plan on over-time each week during our busy season (May - October) This is a construction LABOR job, you may be AWAY FROM HOME for up to 2 -3 weeks at a time We will train you, these are your basic duties: Ability to read and understand basic striping plans and perform needed layout including intersections markings. Ability to communication with contractor's rep., the field inspector, and all field personnel under your supervision. Ability to complete daily required paperwork. This includes accurately logging all yield conversions and verification of meeting required specifications Implement striping plans and perfrom needed layout including intersections markings Install Prefrom Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification Operate and maintain all hand equipment including milling equipment Operate and maintain paint trucks Install temporary pavement markings Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment ( work boots - 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest) Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures All other duties as assigned OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete daily paperwork accurately Work well in a team environment Provide highest level of customer service to all customers Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic   Position Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Pass a drug test Ability to participate and pass Flagger certification, and driver Safety training Able to read, write, and understand English Drivers license required - any valid in the United States  All necessary certifications, we will provide these training    We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran     Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Various Shifts   Additional Information Must have a valid US driver's license.
