SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Associate Director of Operations & Senior Manager of Engagement for the Lancaster Campus.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: FMPC personnel, Student workers and other volunteers on ad hoc basis.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Site Manager performs a broad range of duties including but not limited to, supporting all Lancaster Campus facilities, providing business office support for all aspects of the Lancaster Campus and assisting in the planning and execution of all Lancaster Campus events including those associated with the Lancaster Theological Seminary, Moravian University, Moravian Theological Seminary and the Lancaster community. The Site Manager will provide budget oversight, support the apartment rental process and maintain details for rental rooms and apartments. Additionally, the Site Manager will supervise on-site FMPC personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct oversight for the FMPC department including, but not limited to oversight of the maintenance/service contracts and contractors, ensuring work orders are placed and followed up on, etc.
- Planning and execution of all campus event logistics (room/space reservations, IT support, catering, setup/tear-down, etc.) including seminary commencement, student retreats, and other events while maintaining an awareness of course schedules and space needs for Seminary and University programs. Included in this is coordinating with the Director of the Chapel program regarding the specific needs of Santee Chapel.
- Coordinate special projects as assigned by the Associate Director of Operations & Senior Manager of Engagement for the Lancaster Campus. Serve as the central point of contact for all approved campus purchases and assist the Associate Director of Operations & Senior Manager of Engagement for the Lancaster Campus in managing the operating and expense budget.
- Assist the Senior Manager for Engagement to develop and maintain institutional effectiveness and change management strategies to effectively bridge between employees in Lancaster and Bethlehem.
- Oversee campus mail operations including distributing incoming mail to campus mailboxes, maintaining postage machines, stopping mail during winter holiday break and sending bulk mailings.
- Support campus apartment rental process, including showings to prospective tenants, key, and fob tracking & distribution, move out/in, inspections, generate leases with Business Office input, ensure rental payment is received per lease.
- Screen, interview and provide recommendations for employment of prospective FMPC employees. Develop, plan, and oversee training activities, performance assessments, corrective procedures, and recommendations for promotions, demotions, retention, or termination of employees for the employees supervised by the Site Manager.
- Position is considered "essential personnel" and is required to provide administrative, management support and various other duties, as required, during and outside normal working hours including institution closures and duties related to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled events.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: A four-year college degree is strongly preferred. A minimum of five years of business and/or facilities management experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other office technology is required. Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. A working knowledge of office operations, campus services, some project management and construction methodologies and life safety such as: building, fire, safety, and environmental codes is highly desired. Ability to perform a wide range of functions, from planning events and activities to implementing the work. A strong commitment to advancing the success of diversity, equity and inclusion is required. Experience in a post-secondary or theological education setting is desirable.
