Description

Applies technical principles to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects under general supervision.

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineer field
  • +2 years of electrical engineering experience 
  • Broad verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Be able to climb into various areas of an aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Visual Basic (or other programming language)
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Experience in aircraft interior design or furnishings design
  • Familiar with FAR Part 21 and/or 25

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work in an open office at a computer for long periods of time.
  • On occasion be around loud noises (greater than 120 dB (rivets being installed, jet engines, etc)).
  • Flying on occasion.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
  • Presents new ideas verbally and through sketches, documents work activities in weekly reports.
  • Coordinates assignments with other technical disciplines, drafts standard engineering documents
