The Senior Consultant is a self-motivated, dynamic senior level executive/owner that makes a direct impact on our clients’ performance across North America through development and delivery of 20 Group Meetings and In-dealership Consulting engagements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with North American retail businesses on complex, high risk client initiatives to provide business analysis and industry knowledge with a goal of improved business productivity, profitability, and performance.
  • Understand, explain, and apply proven business models, principles, solutions, tools and processes to provide more complex clients with the vision, concepts and accurate diagnosis and execution plan to make their business more successful.
  • Use the Spader Total Success Model, tools, and processes to facilitate Spader 20 Groups to provide a learning mechanism for making on-going business improvements in members companies.
  • Deliver workshop training on complex management concepts in a way that increases client capability, satisfaction, and success.
  • Partner with the NCM-Spader internal team to develop and update workshop and model content.
  • Lead or collaborate with a team of trainers and Client Services to actively engage in successful sales and marketing of services and products.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however requirement may be satisfied with equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • A former owner or senior executive/manager with significant P&L responsibility, including 10+ years of experience guiding a multi-location retail business with 100+ employees.
    • OEM or dealership group management experience considered an asset.
  • Consistent career track record of demonstrating management excellence, leadership, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Advanced knowledge of dealership financial statements and financial management best practices.
    • Advanced knowledge of dealership operations and business acumen.
  • Superior client relations skills:
    • Ability to listen to and effectively challenge CEOs and Senior Executives
    • Able to assist clients through consulting, facilitating peer groups, and presenting our training programs
  • Strong planning / time/ project management skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Confident and professional in your ability to contribute thoughts, insights, and new ideas.
    • Persistent, goal-focused and self-motivated.
  • Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.
  • Employee must maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record as driving on company business may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to stand, walk, sit, speak, hear, see and use hands to handle objects.
  • Must be able to answer phone and listen and speak with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada.
