Specialties: Commercial Loans and Lines of Credit, Asset-Based Financing, SBA Loans, and Specialized Financing, Real Estate Loans, Cash Management Services, International Services   Description GENERAL SUMMARY: Assist the Utility Officer with the semi-annual operational audits of the branches and provide coverage for branches in the absences of the Branch Service Manager, Assistant Branch Service Manager, Branch Service Supervisor or other areas as needed. Assists the Utility Officer with training in new accounts and teller positions and also assists the Utility Officer in providing the operational, control and service delivery functions performed in assigned branch location in support of the Regions and Areas located in the office. Will ensures high quality service delivery to all customers who interact through a branch office. Proficiency in new accounts documentation is required.   PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Branch Coverage: Will provide coverage to the branches in the absences of the BSM, ABSM, BSS or other areas as needed. Semi-Annual Operational Audits: Knowledge of the overall operational policy and procedures to assist the Utility Officer with the operational audits to ensure that the branches are in compliance and prepared for internal and external audits. Branch Training: Will provide training, as assigned, to branch staff in various operations functions as well as assists the Utility Officer with training in New Account & Teller Systems. Customer Service: Provides high quality service to customers who contact branch offices consistent with the Bank's Mission Statement. Ensure that customer complaints and inquiries are reported and resolved timely and effectively. Elevate customer service issues to the appropriate personnel. Risk Management/Operations Quality: Assist BSM to insure adequate control over branch assets through enforcement of bank policies, adequate oversight of branch control processes. Exercises sound judgment in approvals and recommendations. Must be fully proficient with all aspects of new accounts. Assists BSM with the monthly certification to insure it is processed and completed timely and accurately. Human Resource Management: Assist the Utility Officer with the recruitment, training and motivation of staff to meet goals and provide appropriate levels of service. May also assist the Utility Officer with performance evaluations and performance management. May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as necessary.   Position Requirements POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Education: Associates Degree and or equivalent experience in branch operations with thorough working knowledge of branch Bank processes. Incumbent should have potential for development and promotion to next level of branch management. Experience, Skills & Qualifications: One to four years of progressive experience in bank operations, with at least one year in a bank operations supervisory position. Demonstrated supervisory and customer service skills. Possess a thorough understanding of bank policy and procedure necessary for the development of solutions to problems of limited scope. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and thorough knowledge of Bank systems/processes is required. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
