Founded in 2002, TicketNetwork hosts a leading online exchange with over $5.5 billion in ticket inventory. We power a vast network of websites that enable buyers and sellers to exchange tickets to thousands of events. TicketNetwork is seeking an experienced content specialist to help develop and produce content for multiple properties and audiences. This role will combine content planning and creation as well as of mentoring junior staff members under the direction of the company's head of communications. General knowledge regarding the live entertainment, ticketing, and sports industries are a must. The ideal candidate will have experience creating content with search engine placement in mind, as well as some comfort with journalism, online publishing, email marketing, and developing those skills in others. Primary Responsibilities: Researching content and consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing. Developing content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals. Creating content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media. Proofreading and editing content before publishing. Providing guidance on best practices to junior content staffers. Ensuring that SEO strategies are effectively implemented. Tracking consumer and content analytics and generating reports and presentations. Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.   Position Requirements Skills and Expereince Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar. Professional experience in content creation and ideation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology. Good knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media. Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress is preferred. HTML knowledge a plus.
