The Senior Product Strategist is responsible for turning data into information, information into insights, and insights into key business decisions that steer the strategic direction of Blue Federal Credit Union. Including Blue Federal Credit Unions’ products - digital, share, and loan. The Senior Project Strategist is curious, enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves problem-solving, and is a good communicator. This employee plays a key role in the future of Blue FCU’s strategic growth initiatives by being a leader in strategy development for all things related to product performance and by delivering impactful insights through telling powerful stories with data.
This position also focuses on:

Build strategies for product execution that align with credit union goals amid market and industry pressures. Work with key stakeholders (BI) to build reporting and analytical tools to convey key performance metrics, significant trends, and relationships across multiple data sources.

With a strategic and futuristic mindset apply data from multiple sources to drive valuable business insights. Ideate and develop new metrics and analytical approaches, measuring product performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making.

Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value and insights to our members.

Be a study of industry and market shifts, trending impacts to credit union performance and bring creative strategies to support organizational goals to offset industry impact.

Collaborate with senior executives and other key stakeholders to take product strategies and requests from end-to-end, defining business needs, developing strategies, and communicating insights to the credit union.

Effectively communicate results through compelling data storytelling across the organization.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Offce of Foreign Assets Control. Follows established company policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Sarbanes Oxley controls, Business Ethics and Standard of Conduct, Electronic Communications, Confidentiality and Privacy.
EXPERIENCE: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Financial industry experience preferred.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A college degree. Ideally degree is in an analytical area such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or equivalent.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
OTHER SKILLS: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBi, Looker, etc.). • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Naturally inquisitive, critical thinker, proactive problem-solver, and detail-oriented. • Positive attitude and an open-minded team player & relationship builder. • Manage time effectively to consistently meet deadlines. Manage and balance multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities in a fast- paced environment.

Compensation Range: $61,905 - $92,858
