Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Hampton Newport News Community Services Board operates three Intermediate Care Facilities homes that support complex medical care needs and total care. The ICF/ID offers twenty four hour nursing coverage and has a Medical Director who provides administrative oversight of all medical services.
The Residential Supervisor provides direct oversight of the operation of an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) servicing persons who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and who may have other physical, cognitive, or mental disorders. This position supervises a Residential Counselor and full- time and part- time direct care staff.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology or Counseling) or Special Education and two (2) years experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including ICF experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Valid Driving license
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
