Description

Position Summary:

As a member of our Banquet and Special Events Set-up team, you have the unique role of ensuring efficient operation of banquet functions. The set-up team, sets up and breaks down all weddings, banquets, and convention events. This position requires a flexible schedule including availability all days of the week and will report to the set-up supervisor or banquet manager. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests. Essential Functions:

  • Store and secure equipment used for banquet functions.
  • Refresh room during breaks (replenish supplies, water pitchers, etc.).
  • Retrieve clean linen/skirting and stock in storage areas.
  • Set-up and pick-up dance floor before and after function.
  • Pick-up and deliver all boxes and materials for function.
  • Keep convention and banquet rooms and surrounding areas clean.
  • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications / Special Skills

  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Some knowledge of banquet/ catering services.
  • Able to work a schedule which will include weekends, nights and holidays.
