Diversity at our agency means fostering a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person's talent and strengths.   Position Overnight Counselor   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Location Surf Vets- Coney Island   Salary $19.00/hr.   Days/Hours Saturday & Sunday; 12am-8am   Description Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Overnight Counselor to be primarily responsible for the overall monitoring and safety of the residents and the site. Duties and Responsibilities: Read log for updates, instructions, and assignments Filing, organizing charts, photocopying, etc., as assigned and/or as needed Provide brief counseling, as needed; redirect to core staff when appropriate Crisis intervention, as needed Weekly medication counts; check for accuracy and corresponding documentation Perform hourly walk-throughs of site during your shift Participate in monitoring of medication, as needed Attend sites monthly staff meetings Attend agency forums Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings Salary: $19/hour     Position Requirements Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent along with at least two years of experience in a similar role.
