House of Ruth Maryland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Associate Director for Donor Relations. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager will play a vital role in designing and implementing our comprehensive annual giving strategy. If you are passionate about donor stewardship, cultivating relationships, and driving fundraising initiatives, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Manager of Donor Relations will lead the development and execution of House of Ruth Maryland's annual giving strategy. This includes planning campaigns, drafting appeals, and creating marketing content that aligns with our agency mission and annual marketing calendar. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding new and assigned donors and prospects who contribute $1,000 to $10,000 annually. Additionally, this role will oversee engagement strategies for recurring and new donors, as well as re-engagement strategies for lapsed donors. Supervision of the Engagement Coordinator and management of database operations will also be part of the responsibilities.

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in donor relations, annual giving, or related fundraising roles. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in planning and implementing comprehensive annual giving strategies, strong communication skills, and the ability to cultivate and steward relationships with donors. Experience in nonprofit management, marketing, or communications is highly desirable.
