The PAP is responsible for the switchboard, scheduling and periodic coverage for the patient registration team.    Starting wage for this role is $15/hr.   JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:  *Schedules appointments for Clinton Medical and Dental teams in accordance with established protocols. Reviews the accounts for accurate demographic and required information. *Provides clear explanation of CHC programs, services, procedures regarding appointments, fees and verification, as appropriate. *Scan loose dental paperwork into NextGen ICS and the electronic health record. Register patients in a timely manner while reviewing the chart for accurate demographic, privacy, UDS information and ensures all required forms are completed *Calls insurance carriers to get benefit information and prior approval for procedures as directed by management. Experience: One or more years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Major third-party payor regulations including Medicaid and major group insurance carriers. Resources available to our patients that can be utilized before the sliding fee discount.
