Share Email Opening Title Accounting Assistant   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Janitorial Services Inc. is in search of a dynamic Accounting Assistant to perform a variety of functions supporting accounting operations. Administer Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities. Essential Responsibilities: Maintain accounts payable files for all entities to include filing, updating folders, etc. Prepare and send monthly billing for entities in the Program. Assist in monthly check run cycle to include pulling invoices, assembling checks, stuffing envelopes, postage. Assist with incoming vendor calls to include invoice requests, payment dates. Assist with data entry. Prepare sales quotes. Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. General Ledger account and vendor coding/review of invoices. Obtaining appropriate invoice approvals and follow-up. Processing, matching, mailing and filing invoices. Assist, learn, implement and adherence to internal control policies and procedures. Set-up and monitoring of company cell phones and related apps. Invoice pulling upon request from Executive Staff; scanning or copying as requested by Executive Staff. Performs other duties as assigned by Management. JSI123   Position Requirements High School diploma Minimum two (2) years of previous high-volume experience in Accounts Payable and/or Receivable. Experience. Must possess excellent telephone etiquette and be able to deal with difficult customer calls. Excellent verbal skills. Ability to prioritize and manage high-volume workflow. Possession of strong organization skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
