Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
The H-NNCSB and Hampton City Schools are partnering to offer School Based Outpatient Therapy and Crisis Intervention, including a mobile response, throughout the school division. Therapists will work collaboratively with school personnel to offer mental health services beyond the traditional level of school support. Therapy services will be provided before school, after school or during a designated time during the school day.
The Licensed Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to a team of full or part-time clinical or direct care program staff and oversees the maintenance of clinical records and compliance to clinical standards. This clinical supervisor will conduct clinical evaluations of children or adults with intellectual developmental disabilities, psychiatric disorders, and substance related disorders. Manages a caseload of consumers requiring clinical services and provides direct care including assessment, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, case management, individual, group and/or family counseling, educational sessions and discharge/aftercare planning for clients with serious emotional disorders, serious mental illness, substance abuse problems and intellectual developmental disorders.

Requirements: Virginia licensed as a Mental Health Clinician such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Psychologist with three (3) + years of professional experience providing direct clinical services to the population assigned and their families with behavioral health disorders including supervisory experience.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, CPS search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
