Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) provides a more intensive level of case management services including clinical assessments and level of care determinations for those with a diagnosis of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) or Intellectual or Developmental Disability (IDD).
The Intensive Care Coordination Supervisor manages the daily provision of critical, life supporting intensive care coordination and case management services to children, adolescents, adults and their families with problems of serious emotional disturbance, mental illness, intellectual developmental disabilities and substance abuse. The Supervisor will be responsible for and supervise the performance of about six to eight Intensive Care Coordinators or Case Managers, and may have direct responsibility for clinical assessment, clinical staffings or coverage of program cases. The supervisor is also responsible for program analysis, budget development and monitoring, and recommending new initiatives. Intensive care coordination services include clinical assessment, utilization management and case management services including outreach, psychological and needs assessment, treatment planning, service provider linkage, monitoring, advocacy, counseling and crisis intervention, daily living support, medication supervision and similar functions.

Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling) and three (3) years experience in case management services to the assigned client population.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
