Email Opening Title Coordinator, Clinical   Description Coordinate and collaborate with other faculty and staff in performing duties essential to the achievement of site and district goals for clinical site selection and student clinical assignments and scheduling. Maintain and update Clinical Contracts with clinical site partners annually to ensure Clinical Contracts are approved by the Board of Education in a timely manner. Essential Functions Assist with analyzing clinical calendars for various health programs in determining need for adjunct faculty and will coordinate with instructors on assigning student names to clinical spaces. Instruct and monitor students in clinical requirements which include criminal background search, drug testing, immunization requirements in accordance with CDC guidelines for healthcare providers, and CPR for Health Care Providers. Educate students on clinical requirements and immunization software. Evaluate students and staff on a recurrent basis for progress and maintenance of clinical requirements to maintain eligibility throughout entire clinical rotation. Provide counseling to students who have not met or maintained clinical requirements and need counseling for options. Maintain up-to-date records of student and staff clinical requirements as required by clinical partners. Retrieve student immunization records from the State Health Department and retain consent as required by policy. Develop and maintain relationships with clinical site representatives and immunization providers. Maintain clinical contracts and Worked-Based Learning paperwork requirements. Monitor clinical hub software for clinical space availability and assign students as needed. Collaborate with program instructors and coordinators to develop and implement clinical based scenarios activities per curriculum and/or accreditation needs. Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding the provision of services to internal and external customers and in day-to-day operations of the department. Interpret and implement policies in a manner consistent with the interests of the District. Provide advice and consultation to executive management as requested. Investigate and resolve issues as needed, represent the department and District in a professional manner to all.   Position Requirements Three (3) years’ experience in a health care clinical environment, preferably in different clinical sites is preferred. Teaching experience is a plus. Experience in a management position or similar role is preferred.
