Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. As an integral member of the Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. Your primary duties will include maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment efforts, assisting with onboarding and off boarding processes, managing HR documents and databases, and supporting various HR programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a proactive and customer-oriented approach to their work. Responsibilities:
•    Assist in new employee orientation, onboarding and update records with new hires.
•    Schedule and organize meetings, appointments for phone screens and interviews.
•    Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes to jobs and other related employment matters.
•    Maintain personnel files and ensure all employment requirements are met
•    Assist in recruitment process by performing background checks, gathering references and preparing offer letters.
•   Respond to employee questions and concerns related to benefits, policy, procedure, etc.
•    Reports directly to the HR Manager and works collaboratively with the team.
•    All other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship building
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
•    Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
•    Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
•    Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding best practices
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Minimum of 1 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR administration

Compensation:
•    Compensation is dependent upon experience and educational background. Our range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
•    Paid time off and sick time
•    Eligibility for discretionary quarterly bonuses
