JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
•Deliver excellent visitor service to all Conduit Café, Dreamweaver Milk + Boba Bar, and AREA15 visitors
•Knowledgeable and proactively engage with the visitors to enhance their experience
•Accurately describe product details and educate visitors on specialty items and offerings
•Utilize suggestive selling for top products, upsell such as alcohol add-ons or additional product recommendations
•Meet Key Performance Indicators as set by AREA15 and provided by management team
•Efficiently and accurately prepare menu items based on provided recipes and procedures
•Must handle credit card transactions at the point of sales system accurately and in a timely manner
•Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, such as counter, shelves, reach-ins, by using proper sanitization techniques and tools in accordance with SNHD standards
•Provide an accurate inventory count of product prior and at the end of every shift
•Follow instructions and work within a team environment
•Always communicate effectively with all levels of employees and visitors. Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, follow up and make the best judgement call possible when needed. Contact a manager on duty for help
•Initiates and maintain an upbeat environment on a consistent basis
•Accurately account for inventory/supply levels including recording lost, spoiled and/or promotional Product at the outlet. Alert management team for any irregularities in a timely manner.
•Complete daily Opening, Running and Closing checklists
•Prepare backstock items as assigned following provided recipes and ensure outlet is fully stocked during all operational hours. Discard of expired or spoiled product with management approval. Ensure all product is properly labeled with expiration dates if applicable
•Remain in compliance with all SNHD regulations
•Ensure equipment is operating safely and properly including daily cleaning and recording temperatures of freezers, coolers, and brewing equipment. Report any concerns in a timely manner.
•Adhere to all AREA15 and Restaurant policies and procedure
•Promote a cheerful, efficient, and safe work environment
•Exhibit ART! when interacting with internal and external customers at all times
•Be a brand advocate by providing guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing
•Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards at all times
•Maintaining a high level of integrity is part of the job
•Must maintain composure and stay focused even during hectic work environments
•Performs other job-related tasks, also must complete other duties as deemed necessary by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
•Applicants must be 21 years of age
•Must be proficient in English; additional language skills a plus
•Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
•Requires a minimum of 1-2 years experience in hospitality industry services
•Valid work cards (Health, Alcohol Awareness, Non Gaming)
•Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke
•Must be able to work in dark environment that features flashing lights
•Must be able to push and lift up to 50lbs
•Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
•Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly
•Open availability with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
•Must have the ability to work all seasons in an outdoor setting, withstanding high and low temperatures, heat, and sun exposure
•Previous experience in Boba and/or Coffee preferred
•Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
