The School-Based Child Mental Health Case Manager will provide intensive case management services to children and adolescents with seriously emotionally disturbed (SED)/at-risk behavior, in a school setting. The child case manager works collaboratively with child and family clinicians, school-based outpatient clinicians, and school staff/administration. Benefits Sign-on bonus of $1,500.00 included with the first paycheck. Health insurance as low as $20.00 per month for individuals. Family and dependent plans are also available. Nine paid holidays. Accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year from year one. PTO is immediately available upon accrual. Participation in the Virginia Retirement System. Professional development assistance provided at no cost. Summary of Essential Functions Provides activities and case management services to children and adolescents with at-risk/SED behavior. Collaborates with children, adolescents, their families, and school administration to facilitate adjustment at home, in school, and in the community. Helps children, adolescents, and their families navigate crisis stabilization and emergency intervention services as needed. Carries a cell phone to provide crisis stabilization and emergency intervention services as needed.  Develops and completes Individual Service Plan (ISP) reviews on caseload in accordance with agency standards and Medicaid criteria. Minimum Qualifications All applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications in order to be considered qualified for the position: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. One year of clinical experience with children and adolescents or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
