Share Email Opening Title Dietary Staff  Division Colonial Oaks at Leawood LLC   Location Colonial Oaks Senior Living at Leawood   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Shift Days   Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern to please residents and guests. Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices. Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned. Ensure that residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely fashion. Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed. Tactfully and professionally handle resident concerns and complaints. Follow all dining standards of service. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and kitchen. Attends all meetings and in-services as requested by Director. Is observant and aware of any situations or occurrences in the community that may pose a safety hazard to residents or staff. Report such observation immediately to the supervisor.   Position Requirements Must possess exemplary work ethics. Must be able to read, write, and speak English so as to understand and be understood by residents, staff, and families. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 40 pounds. Must be able to move about the community quickly and be able to physically assist residents and/or staff in event of an emergency.
