Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.  

Partners in Recovery is the premier provider of quality comprehensive outpatient counseling, medication management and medication assisted treatment services to adults who are experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clinical approach is person-centered and is tailored to address the interaction of the individual's substance use and psychiatric related issues.

The Office Assoicate III performs a variety of functions including typing, dictation, transcription, receptionists and phone duties, appointment scheduling, record keeping, and related administrative tasks. The work may be characterized by interaction with program clients, care givers, and other service providers.

Requirements:  One year of clerical and or customer services experience required.  Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and internet and web based tools (e.g. Zoom).  Excellent oral and written communication.  Experience in a heath care setting preferred.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
