Cambridge Management, Inc. (CMI) began in 1987 as a small team managing a portfolio of communities in Tacoma, Washington. Our focus soon shifted to providing quality management for affordable housing communities. These affordable communities provide homes for those with limited incomes including families, senior citizens, and people with disabilities. Today, our team has grown to nearly 350 employees managing 114 communities and more than 9,000 apartment homes. Our portfolio includes market rate, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and Project-Based Section-8 communities that range in size from 6 to 344 units. Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Community Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the preservation and upkeep of the property and the safety of all maintenance personnel of the property. The Maintenance Supervisor will be aware of and always operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) Standards and company safety policies and procedures. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the maintenance team and overseeing the overall maintenance of the community, including repairs, the make-ready process, and preventative maintenance.
