Email Opening Title Part-Time Instructor, Cisco Certified Network Associate  Description Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.) Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech’s ACD program. Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.   Position Requirements Candidate must have CCNA or higher. The candidate must have at least three (3) years industry experience with Cisco routing and switching. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in training and teaching others. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching designed to prepare students to take the CCNA  Routing & Switching certification exams. The candidate must have experience in an educational setting or industry experience in training others and in developing and delivering presentations. Hours not to exceed 20 per week   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Shift Evenings   Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
