JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing & Content Manager is a member of Hancock Health Marketing. The Marketing & Content Manager is a thought leader in developing and implementing channels of communications and content to all visitors, community members/partners, patients, volunteers, associates, and any 'customer' of Hancock Health. The Marketing & Content Manager will oversee the account executive process for accomplishing the needs of marketing accounts/service lines. The Marketing & Content Manager will lead the coordination efforts for event campaign logistics, digital support, promotional items, and special projects and act as primary escalation resource for the rest of the department. The Marketing & Content Manager provides coverage when the Director is out of office, on vacation, or otherwise indisposed for any reason.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Marketing team to create, deliver, edit, and optimize all marketing materials.
  • Lead the development of companywide social media management standards, policies, and rules of engagement.
  • Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars,
    infographics, etc.).
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with Hancock Health marketing strategies.
  • Identify ways to integrate social media into Hancock Health business strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Work with Marketing department to improve organic search engine performance and goal setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with designers and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Assist with all aspects of executing marketing events, tradeshows, customer events, and partner sessions. This includes site selection, negotiating contracts, banquet orders, assigning speakers, ordering gifts/giveaways, off-site coordination of logistics, invitation development, emailing invitations, and tracking follow-up activities to measure results of the event (ROI).
  • Lead and collaboratively develop the communication strategies with other Marketing team members, including but not limited to CRM, communication funnels, intranet, internal communication tools, social channels, etc.
  • Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
  • Ensure brand marketing guidelines across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to provide design and direction for collateral, web, and other visual communications media for the company.
  • Write and post press releases. Oversee relationship with PR newswire, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across all Hancock Health social sites.
  • Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to overall marketing plan/strategy: content, media, web copy, website updates, internal communication, blog, case study, and whitepapers.
  • The individual will strongly support the culture, engagement, and leadership initiatives of Hancock Health.
  • Performs any other tasks or related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree in digital media, graphic design, web design, communications, or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience (or equivalent) in digital marketing, digital design, UX/UI design, or project management.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other graphic production software and tools for content creation
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with photography and photo retouching desired.
  • Experience with front-end web development desired.
  • Experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite desired.
  • Intimate knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premier and other industry standard video and audio editing software.
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Working knowledge of applying visual content to email and social media tools and best practices: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Elequa, and YouTube desired.
  • Digital graphics production, use of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience directing and producing video low-to-mid-level content independently and with a crew.
  • Able to work independently and within creative teams for projects.
  • Able to fulfill all responsibilities with little to moderate oversight.
  • Understanding of analytics reporting tools and web analysis measures.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks, good time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
  • Experience in front-end languages like HTML5 and CSS. A practical knowledge of website interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within a fast-paced environment.
