Summary: Individuals in the job are responsible for assisting Tropical Financial Credit Union in achieving its purpose of guiding members successfully through the financial marketplace. The individual in this job will serve as the TFCU webmaster to manage the credit union’s web presence. The webmaster will be responsible for ensuring the website is functional from a mobile-first perspective, user-friendly, up-to-date. The Webmaster serves as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations website(s), handling a range of responsibilities that may include web design and development, routine site and content maintenance, and various updates to ensure sites align with the goals and objectives of the company. As the TFCU website is built upon the HubSpot platform, the TFCU webmaster must be highly skilled using all aspects of HubSpot and be proficient in Inbound Marketing, excellent technical skills and a good understanding of creative online marketing. This individual will have the ability to expand their knowledge while making an impact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Building and testing aesthetic, functional, and user-friendly website/landing pages.
  • Coordinating with designers, content providers, and management or subject matter experts throughout the credit union.
  • Implementing and ensuring website security, data protection and website compliance.
  • Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages.
  • Monitoring, and testing website across browsers, operating systems and devices.
  • Updating website content and reviewing SEO, working closely with Marketing Data Analyst to identify opportunities to improve SEO, time on site, web and other relevant metrics.
  • Manage, implement, and optimize website content for relevancy and accuracy with SEO in mind.
  • Working with Marketing Data Analyst to monitoring online traffic and conversions.
  • Debug pages and fix broken links or images.
  • Uphold reputation management across various review platforms with TFCU’s voice in mind.
  • Support TFCU’s branding both internally and externally
  • Develops, implements, and maintains e-commerce applications in collaboration with the organizations retail operations, sales, marketing, and related departments.
  • Encourages and facilitates consistent, creative, and unified web design across the organizations web properties.
  • Maintains and documents ownership of company’s internet domains.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws.
  • Maintains current knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development, and technology keeping in mind TFCU’s foundational strategies of “mobile first.”
  • Develop and implement HubSpot CRM functionality and assist in training across departments that will utilize this function.
  • Performs other duties as required with or without accommodation.

Compliance:

  • BSA Compliance - every employee is required to uphold the credit union’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
  • Specific functions within TFCU will consider the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity that is relevant to the department.
  • In addition to any other assigned training courses, online BSA and OFAC courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and Compliance Departments.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Fair Lending, and Credit Card Act.
  • Comply with all TFCU policies and procedures to ensure compliance with such regulations.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Must work well in a team and collaborate with other departments, managers, designers, writers and our outside partners.
  • Ability to generate creative ideas
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Bilingual is not required, but is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Design or related field preferred. Equivalent progressive professional experience may be substituted for education.
  • HubSpot certifications for Inbound and website functionality required.
  • Three years’ working knowledge of website management tools including SEO, CRM, Inbound Marketing, and Marketing Automation.
  • Knowledge of IT security.
  • Relevant marketing certificates preferred
