Our Maple Grove group is seeking a Clinic Site Manager to manage day-to-day operations for that site.

As a member of MCN's leadership team and reporting to the Director of Internal Operations, the Clinic Site Manager provides leadership and supervision to several operational staff members at our Maple Grove location. This position interacts daily with MCN physicians and other care providers to ensure administrative and patient needs are met. Responsible for the day-to-day management of various functions related to patient care, including scheduling, check-in, pre-visit and care coordination activities. Duties include recruitment, selection, orientation/training, work assignments, performance management, employee recognition and other responsibilities related to staff leadership. Collaborates with other leaders to help foster a work environment where team members feel valued, challenged and supported, and where the main focus is on providing exceptional patient care. Serves as point person for staff and physicians/providers, troubleshooting operational issues and handling patient complaints. Makes recommendations for process improvements intended to promote smooth clinic operations and enhance the patient experience. Also serves as super-user for MCN’s electronic health record (Epic).

 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an outpatient medical office setting, including formal experience as a manager or supervisor (recruitment, training, performance management, etc.)
  • Experience managing patient complaints
  • Experience working with electronic health record (Epic preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Collaborative management style with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with good follow through and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and apply data for quality and productivity measurement
  • Patient centered; strong customer service orientation
  • Understanding of business/financial management
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion
  • Proficiency with electronic health record and MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
