Share Email Opening Title Project Manager (Abq. NM)  Description PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Provides direct project management to traffic control, pavement marking and sign install projects including, customer contact, project planning and review, information requests, project design development and changes, materials planning, signage approval, account receivable and project contract compliance. Contracting Project Manager Primary Duties and Responsibiities: Makes all initial calls to customer to collect. Provides direct project management Traffic Control projects include, customer contact, project planning and review, information requests, project design development and changes, resource allocation, materials planning signage, message boards and alike. Oversees the submittal process and final approval. Attends preconstruction and progress meetings as necessary. Visit jobsite when needed. Identifies project scope changes and requests change orders as needed Modifies B2W quotes to reflect contract changes and change order requests Ensures monthly certified payrolls are being submitted Works directly with customers and project owners monthly to reconcile our installed quantities as they occur Involved in monthly accounts receivable collection efforts and specific customer account reconciliation Ensures that all costs are being charged to projects for job costing purposes. Review monthly job cost reports advising management and operations of where each project stands Works directly with customers to close out the contracts when the work is completed. Keeps monthly backlog report current. Ability to solve issues when involved in difficult contract project situations. Assures that assigned personnel are trained and conduct work in a safe manner.   Project Manager (Specific Administrative Duties): Performs new subcontract preparation: Will be responsible for creating job files this includes: Internal contract file Operations job file (Communicates job packets with operations and field crews) Writes up sign manufacturing work orders based on the approved shop drawings Orders bonds and provides insurance certificates Prepares monthly billings, statements and pay estimates and submits directly to customer and project manager Prepares monthly management report – revenues/material costs by job and LOB   Position Requirements QUALIFICATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED required. Skills/Qualifications: Attention to detail, thoroughness, verbal communication, organization, punctual, efficient, computer skills and has successfully completed pre-employment process. Experience: Traffic Control/ Work Zone Safety experience is preferred. Working in Project Management, Contracting, Sales/Estimation is beneficial, General: Drug and alcohol awareness, Protective Equipment Training, Sexual Harassment Awareness, Preventing Workplace Violence, CPR (National Safety Council), First Aid.
