Description

Federal Contract Requirements: Provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination. Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident. Must be at least 21 years old.

JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Sr. Deputy Director of the Pecos Children’s Center and under the direction of the Migrant Services Compliance Manager, the PCC Associate Director for Compliance will coordinate all compliance activities and teams on the PCC campuses. The AD Compliance and teams they oversee exist to ensure adherence to all aspects of ORR policy and the PCC Performance Work Statement.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert to the leadership of PCC on ORR policy
  • Oversee the compliance functions and, consisting of the Significant Incident Reporting (SIR) Team, the Quality Assurance/PSA Manager, Compliance Support, Ombudsman Team, Compliance Liaisons and Records Management as well as other work streams or teams as may be developed to ensure strong, documented compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all compliance activities and maintenance of the compliance dashboard for real-time review
  • Ensure all required compliance deliverables are provided within specified timeframes
  • Assist MS Compliance Manager in data analysis and tracking of trends in compliance reports
  • Provide on-site logistical support for in-person external monitoring or audits, including coordination with all PCC department, conducting mock audits and other preparation activities as may be required
  • Assist in writing reports for submission to ORR via the Compliance Manager
  • Assist the MS Director for Training and Compliance with activities related to contract compliance as needed
  • Meet regularly with all compliance leads – SIR, Records, PSA, Ombudsman, Compliance Liaisons – to ensure coordination of all activities and cross-training for key functions as may be possible
  • Coordinate all compliance investigations
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of staff for compliance teams
  • Conduct compliance audits and reviews as needed
  • Other compliance or site support functions as assigned

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Commitment to Endeavors mission to serve vulnerable people through compassionate, trauma informed care
  • Management acumen to coordinate multiple related functions into a smooth working team
  • Focused attention to detail to manage technical tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (focus on holistic care and meeting the needs of at-risk population)
  • Ability to use Microsoft suite of office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others as necessary
  • Ability to speak, read and write Spanish a strong plus

 

EDUCATION:

  • 4-year bachelors or undergraduate degree from an accredited Program/university, preferably in one of the following areas: social policy, social work, statistics, operations management or related field.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience or supervisorial roles
  • 1+ year(s) experience in working with policy or contract compliance
  • Report writing/data analytics experience
  • Experience working with programs funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement a strong plus
  • Experience working in cross-cultural or human services with migrants a plus

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Communication skills. PCC Associate Director for Compliance must be able to document and present their research and related information. A great Administrator has excellent communication and organizational skills, is well versed in departmental procedures and policies, and can discover ways to do the job more efficiently.

  • Computer skills. PCC Associate Director for Compliance needs to have excellent computer skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and SharePoint preferred.

  • Interpersonal skills. PCC Associate Director for Compliance spend a lot of time working with PCC Departments, directors and other professionals and must be able to develop good relationships. They must make everyone feel comfortable yet know what and when to share.

  • Organizational skills. PCC Associate Director for Compliance will have multiple PCC related projects consistently. They must adapt quickly to changing deadlines and thus be flexible.

 

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at the employer’s sole discretion. Works business hours but position requires support before and after workday and weekends as assigned.

 

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.

 

VEHICLE: Not required on-site.

 

OTHER: Must be available and willing to work at Pecos Children’s Center and various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

THE DEPARTMENT HEAD MUST APPROVE EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA.

 

LOCATION: On-Site Pecos; Children’s Center; Deployment required. Lodging in dormitory-style rooms with few amenities.

Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Clearance.

EXCEPTIONS TO THESE CRITERIA MUST BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT HEAD.
