Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Program Manager will assist in the implementation and design of the ETS Sponsorship Program. The program manager will facilitate, coordinate, and resolve conflicts and obstacles to ensure that program objectives are met. The program manager will assist the Director of Community Services in staffing the program with sponsorship coordinators. Maintains relationships with VA facilities and military installations and creates schedules for sponsorship training and certification courses. The project manager will serve as a liaison to the community, Endeavors and other programs staff and community partners to complete the program requirements, goals, and deliverables.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement program goals, objectives, and standard operating procedures
  • Provide the Director of Community Services with recommended outreach, communication, and risk mitigation plans to include recommended ongoing trainings
  • Examine utilization of sponsorship services to ensure the quality management and quality assurance of the program
  • Track and present the indicators, objectives, outcomes, KPI’s and produce weekly and monthly dashboards for distribution to leadership for guidance and quarterly and annual reports
  • Provide required weekly/monthly utilization reports to the Program Director
  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with collaborative network and community partners as a means to recruit sponsors and provide necessary services to Transitioning Service Members
  • Participate in outreach events and briefings to promote ETS Sponsorship to Veteran Service Organizations and Military installations to ensure visibility of the program
  • Coordinate with outside agencies for sponsor trainings and certifications
  • Maintain a database of sponsors within designated area of responsibility and assign sponsors to Transitioning service members that will assist them in achieving post military goals upon separation from service.
  • Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: BA/BS in project management, business administration, social services, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ experience coordinating sponsors for Active Duty populations. 3+ years of experience small to large-scale projects requiring engagement of multiple business/program areas and operations. Demonstrated proficiency in project implementation and management, public speaking, group facilitation, training, prevention program development, evaluation, strategic planning, and data compilation. Prior Military experience is a must.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License must be valid and must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

TRAVEL: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. Position requires the ability to travel on short notice. Local travel and occasional overnight travel (1-2 nights max.)

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and as the business need dictates. This position aligns with Endeavors Program Coordinator job responsibilities. Must be able to support a home office if remote operational needs arise.
