Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for Endeavors guests, clients and employees. This role requires organization and a professional demeanor to interact with guests, clients, and employees to support the entire organization. In this position tasks include, but not limited to greeting clients, answering phones and taking messages.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a prompt and professional manner
  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriate
  • Maintains security by following procedures and issuing visitor badges
  • Maintain confidentiality on all aspects of the HR department and agency information provided
  • Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned from time to time to include support of surge operations to support emergency staffing initiatives.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to “Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one-year experience working in customer service.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
  • Responds promptly to shifts in direction, priorities and schedules.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
