POSITION SUMMARY

This is an on-site position in Circleville, Ohio.

Ohio Christian University is looking for a Program Coordinator to oversee the management of all student data during the enrollment process and ensure they meet both high school and college requirements. The person in this role will coordinate billing and reporting to the State of Ohio. They will also work with high school guidance counselors and administrators, state officials, the University Registrar and Finance offices, and Trailblazer Academy staff to ensure accurate student data is compiled and reported to all institutions and stored in all relative databases.

Location: This position reports to the Circleville Main Campus, M-F (hybrid option may be available)

Months per year: 12

Hours per week: 40

Salary Range: $13.00-$16.00

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process College Credit Plus dual enrollment applicants and their accompanying enrollment material
  • Reports updated weekly enrollment data
  • Oversees the admissions process by maintaining student data in all spreadsheets and databases
  • Participates in new student orientation
  • Manage invoices
  • Attend College Credit Plus meeting with high schools
  • Work with high schools and guidance counselors to deliver excellent customer service and provide updated information about the program and managing student data
  • Assist students and schools with the State funding process
  • Take initiative to grow and maintain the program
  • Work with internal departments regarding student billing
  • Create reports for student enrollment listings, student outcomes, billing processes, compliance reporting, demographics reporting, college readiness reporting, and alternative funding reporting to the State of Ohio
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Academic Director

Internal OCU Relationships: Students, Faculty, Advisors, Admissions, Academics, Finance, Registrar

External Relationships: Local public and private high schools, home school organizations, and general community

QUALIFICATIONS

According to Ohio Christian University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent computer and research skills
  • Excellent organization skills, an ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively with variety of community stakeholders (e.g. school administration, community members, parents and students)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • There may be minor lifting relevant to coordinating orientation sessions.
