OCU offers degree programs for residential undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult and online students.   Position Assistant, Associate Professor of Music and Worship   Location Main Campus   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description POSITION SUMMARY Ohio Christian University is looking for a faculty member who can provide instruction in music and worship. This position serves in a dual role as instructor and the coordinator for worship teams and chapel music. Reports to: Associate Dean for Arts and Sciences Salary Range: $40,000-$52,000 Location: Full time, On Site, at Circleville, Ohio Duties and Responsibilities Teach courses in applied music (piano or guitar preferred) Curriculum development Participate in university service and committees as outlined in Faculty Handbook Maintain relationships with professional organizations in disciplinary area Maintain currency in disciplinary field Mentor and advise students Coordinate worship teams and chapel music Mentor young musicians Other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
