The RN - Supervisor will support the Frederick Living Mission of caring for and enriching the lives of older adults with the following essential responsibilities:

  • Review 24 hour documentation daily for evaluation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with physician’s and physician practices to coordinate visits/ care.
  • Communicate with the DON, NHA, care providers and family/ POA as needed.
  • Uses evidenced-based practices to ensure care delivery is provided to residents.
  • Assist in the management of personnel through on-going performance evaluation, Care Chats, coaching, counseling, education, and Corrective Action as needed.
  • Participate in resident TOC/ Care Conferences and care plan review as needed.
  • Manage Wound Rounds.
  • Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal care for residents.
  • Comply with Infection Control practices.
  • Maintain hand-held communication equipment is maintained by all direct-caregivers for effective call bell management & communication with team members.
  • Attend and complete all required in-services, training and Team Meetings.

  • Ability to operate in a high stimulation environment.

Along with an excellent work ethic, successful candidates will have:

  • Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Prior experience in geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Prior Management experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Healthcare Provider
  • Basic computer skills
