Fast-food, Restaurant or Thrift  Management Background Preferred.

 2-4 years Retail Management Required.  Salary Range $37,500-$40,000 while in training;  Full line of Benefits; eligible for Bonus Program after promotion to Store Manager

Territory: Port Saint Joe to Panama City Beach, Fl

Essential Functions:

Operations:

  • Manager will perform all procedures necessary to meet or exceed the weekly sales and production quota for the store;
  • Manager will open, operate and/or close designated retail and/ADC sites;
  • Sort and select for sale all donated merchandise, display merchandise in an eye-catching and pleasing manner and assure that old goods are removed on a scheduled rotation;
  • Manager is responsible for the supervision of staff, including, but not limited to interviewing; planning, scheduling, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide training to new hires and conduct ongoing training to ensure all staff are familiar with store procedures;.
  • Maintain all employee records and confidentiality;
 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Manager must be self-motivated and detailed-oriented with a strong sense of quality customer service;

  • Able to use a cash register, calculator, credit card processing machine correctly and make change accurately;

  • Manager must have a good work ethic;

  • Able to work with minimal supervision;

  • Able to maintain good relationships with co-workers;

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends;

  • High School degree or equivalent;
  • Some college preferred; 4-6 years of related training or experience in lieu of degree
  • Supervisory experience for at least one year.
