The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations and overall management of the Community Support Services programs in accordance with the Division of Mental Health and Addictions Services (DMHAS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Volunteers of America policies and standards. Duties include: Program oversight and staff supervision and training to BA level staff. Quality assurance/performance improvement activities. Provision of 24/7 on-call consultation and support to the service recipient in the absence of the Program Manager. Implementation of evidence-based practices including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing and WRAP to assist service recipients in achieving wellness and recovery goals. Contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the individualized rehabilitation plan. Perform comprehensive rehabilitation needs assessments, provided staff are authorized to perform such service under their professional licensure, certification, or credentialing standards. Offering services appropriate to meet the service recipient needs. Performing crisis intervention. Coordinating and managing services. Provide individual, group, and family supportive counseling services to service recipients. Skill teaching to assist service recipients in developing skills in various areas that promotes the achievement and maintaining of valued life roles in the areas of social, employment, physical health, education, and/or household domains with the goal the service recipient achieves community integration and remains in an independent living setting of his/her choice. Ensure that all paperwork and monthly reports are submitted in timely manner and according to VOA policy. Document all observations, information and services provided to the service recipient within the required timeframes.   Position Requirements Master's degree, LSW or LCSW and one year experience in a community behavioral health setting.
