Share Email Opening Title School-Based Health Coordinator  Post Internal Days 0   Description CHC has an exciting opportunity to expand care through School-Based Health initiatives. As a School-Based Health Coordinator, you will organize and manage school-based health care schedules and operations while following established standards and practice within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Acts of the States of Iowa and Illinois. This supervisory role is designed to provide support professional nursing care under the supervision of the CMO and/or medical providers and manages a support team of Medical Assistants, LPNs, RN's, and other Behavioral Health professionals. Ideal candidates possess Independent decision-making skills Quick thinking and problem-solving skills Lead by example Ability to take initiative Great written and verbal communication Experience/Desire for public speaking Passionate in working with school aged children Responsibilities Oversees day-to-day operations Coordinates a warm welcome to new team members Promote school initiatives Ensures free flow of information, including rounding on staff Manages staffing schedule, time off and attendance policy Maintains a safe, clean and organized facility Resolves patient concerns in a friendly, efficient manner Participates in annual budget planning Ensures safety through risk management rounds, equipment checks, sterilization, etc. Leads quality improvement initiatives Ensure patients receive culturally competent care CHC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
