Dental Assisting Job Responsibilities:
Chairside dental assisting includes set up, breakdown, sterilization, and organization of a variety of dental procedures and anticipating dentist’s needs during each procedure.
Taking and processing x-rays, photographs, and impressions. Fabricating laboratory and chairside temporaries.
Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with payment procedures.
Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene.
Maintaining accurate patient records and managing other general administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terms.
Understanding of crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals and implants.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills to deliver oral hygiene instructions, deliver post-operative care instructions, and build trusting relationships with patients and co-workers.
Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.
Driven personality to be the best in your profession and provide the best care for patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of Dental Assisting experience. Recent and Spring 2023 graduates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge and experience in endodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement and restoration.
