Description

Our company is seeking a reliable and experienced Onsite Fuel Truck Driver/Greaser to join our team at the port. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently fueling and greasing construction equipment on-site, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. The ideal candidate will be familiar with proper fueling and greasing techniques for large construction equipment.

This position will be on an evening shift from 3pm to 11pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate fuel truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Deliver fuel to construction equipment on-site, logging deliveries and maintaining accurate fuel records.
  • Fuel and grease construction equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, and trucks, according to manufacturer recommendations and company guidelines.
  • Monitor fuel levels and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain fuel truck and equipment in good working order, performing daily inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all employees and contractors on-site.

 

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of proper fueling and greasing techniques for construction equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work on-site at the port.
