The Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources department by providing administrative support, compiling reports, facilitating temporary staffing support, and planning/scheduling company events. The position serves as the initial contact for incoming telephone calls and visitors.



  • Overseas visitor management process, including temporary employees, contractors, and guests
  • Administers and directs various HR employee programs such as employee recognition program, wellness program, COVID 19 management, or others, as needed
  • Assists in planning and organizing employee events and parties
  • Schedules and manages CEO/Employee Town Hall meetings
  • Maintains and edits the information monitors located throughout the offices
  • Sorts/mails/distributes various interoffice correspondence
  • Completes employment verification requests
  • Prepares separation paperwork as directed
  • Prepares workers compensation paperwork as directed
  • Prepares LOA paperwork as directed
  • Prepares responses to legal requests for employee documents
  • Creates various ad hoc reports as requested by Senior HR team members

Temporary Staffing Support

  • Ensures completion of onboarding paperwork
  • Assembles temporary employee packets
  • Audits  temporary employee new hire files
  • Manages  temporary employee records

Call Management

  • Answers all incoming telephone calls with courtesy and responsiveness and routes calls promptly and accurately
  • Re-routes all voice mail messages left on main message mailbox during off hours to the intended parties’ voicemail systems
  • Remains alert to undelivered phone messages or calls of an urgent nature and brings them to the attention of a supervisor
  • Maintains a professional appearance of reception area at all times - clean, attractive and uncluttered

Time Keeping

  • Assists with the verification and validation of timekeeping reports
  • Serves as main point of contact for all employees regarding timekeeping questions and issues including time sheet edits and corrections
  • Generates time keeping records as requested

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Enters payroll data as directed
  • Assists with payroll changes such as tax withholding and PTO requests
  • Assists employees with general payroll related issues or questions
  • Provides benefits related information and assistance to employees
  • Assists in auditing payroll and benefit records, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Generates payroll and benefit reports as requested

This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

SALARY RANGE $19.62- $24.53

Position Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or closely related field
  •  2+ years of administrative human resources experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to HR policies and practices
