Your role in helping us shape the future:

U.S. News empowers everyone to thrive.The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will work with internal stakeholders to define campaign goals and strategy and will devise, design, develop, deploy and report on consumer email communication. This role would own the development of new email campaigns, design of the customer journey and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure program success. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager must be able to thrive and succeed in a very fast-paced work environment and analyze, optimize and refine campaigns to meet goals.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Develop and maintain complex lifecycle automations for consumers, guiding the consumer through a journey through conversion

  • Continually adjust and optimize journeys to deliver relevant content for consumer segments

  • Leverage the email automation platform to develop, customize and launch email campaigns

  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Editorial and UX Teams to organize usability tests and A/B Testing

  • Conduct thorough email campaign and automation testing from various standpoints including subject lines, design, content, copy and more

  • Develop reporting that provides broad and detailed insight into consumer email programs, including email, category and partner metrics

  • Highly personalize email campaigns using data and dynamic content

 
Position Requirements

You should definitely have:

  • Comfortable executing all parts of the Email development process, from concept, to design, development, testing and deployment

  • 5+ yrs experience using developing and launching emails from an enterprise ESP

  • Blueshift experience a plus

  • Expertise in customer segmentation strategies and subscriber management

  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools

  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to complete VLOOKUPs and Pivot Table

  • Experience with Agile environments, email systems/tooling, user testing, A/B testing and leveraging data for decision making

  • In New York City, the anticipated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $130,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
