Valley Community Services Board serves as the single point of entry into publicly funded mental health, developmental, and substance use disorder services for these localities.

Description

VCSB is seeking a Client Engagement Specialist to join our Outpatient Services team! The Client Engagement Specialist provides client and clinical support services at the front desk, including customer service, waiting room coordination, electronic health record registration, along with other tasks.

Summary of Essential Functions

  • Greets clients at check-in.
  • Registers and schedules appointments for Outpatient Services.
  • Receives and triages phone calls.
  • Completes necessary documentation in the electronic health system.
  • Maintains effective professional relationships with the VCSB team and outside agency staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid Virginia driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
