WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE: Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar IT System Administrator role, with experience in network, system, and security administration. Technical skills: Proficiency in Windows operating system, virtualization technologies such as VMware, network protocols and infrastructure, and security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and backup solutions. Certifications: One or more relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, strong problem-solving skills, and a business-focused attitude. Ability to communicate technical problems with non-technical associates. Availability: Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, be available for emergency support, and always open to learning.
