Share Email Opening Title FT Senior Mental Health Practitioner  Description SENIOR MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER needed full time at Hiawatha Hall Adult Intensive Residential Facility at Family & Children’s Center in Winona to provide overall care to adults with sub-acute mental health symptoms. The primary responsibilities include client case management (including but not limited to: functional assessments, treatment plans, intake and discharge, coordination with outside stakeholders etc.), daily client care (including providing structure and daily organization to clients, medication management, manage client emotional and behavioral issues, etc.), new client intake and general team member duties.     Position Requirements Required Qualifications: Must meet one of the four qualifications as a Mental health practitioner listed below: 1.Has a Bachelors’ degree in behavioral science or related field; OR, 2.Has 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields and, (a) 1 year of experience providing services to individuals with a mental illness or a substance use disorder: or, (b) has completed a practicum or internship that required direct interaction with adult clients and was focused on behavioral sciences or related fields   ;OR, 3.Has at least 2 years of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with a mental illness or a substance use disorder; OR, 4.Has a master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.   Location Hiawatha Hall   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   About the Organization Family & Children's Center is a regional, private, not-for-profit 501(c)3 agency that provides a continuum of services designed to strengthen families and promote individual well-being, including: -Child abuse and neglect prevention -Community-based counseling (counseling clinics, in-home counseling, day treatment) -Residential options (treatment foster care, respite care) -Community support programs -Several outreach programs We are nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services, indicating we meet the highest standards for each of our programs.
