Description

The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for the delivery of data and information relating to our organization’s business intelligence. You will be maintaining and developing data infrastructure that is reliable, highly available, scalable, secure, easy to use, and cost-efficient. This will allow you to support our customers' success by providing meaningful, relevant data visualization to clients to inform business decisions.

The Data Warehouse Developer partners with Operations, Finance, HR and Grant teams to design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and analytics architecture to meet CORE’s business analysis and reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our existing relational databases and our data warehouse, including designing data models, and defining logical and physical models.

  • Create data sources and import and transform data for reporting from all CORE systems through new or existing API

  • Develop and maintain data needed for client dashboards.

  • Design, document, implement, and maintain robust ETL workflows.

  • Debug and resolve data and reporting issues.

  • Ad Hoc Repots as needed

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5 years’ experience in data management

  • 3 years of experience in database administrations

  • 2 years of experience in AWS cloud solutions

  • Strong Java Experience

Desired:

  • Strong Documentation

  • PowerBi experience

Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in data warehousing and data modeling

  • Experience with various data sources and identifying data errors.

  • Strong experience in database structure and reporting protocols

  • Experience with different modules in SalesForce

  • Experience integrating to Saas hosted API’s to move data. (Azure AD, Paychex, SmartSheet, Slaesforce, Sage Intacct, etc)

  • Strong Experience with JavaScript and Data Management

  • Proficiency in SQL development including SQL Server, Postgres and MySQL

  • Familiar with database replication and interconnectivity

  • Understanding of modern data stacks and ETL strategies

  • Familiarity with tables, writing complex queries, stored procedures, and views.

  • Familiarity with data manipulation tools

  • Have actively handled complex data structure

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to conduct meaningful gap analysis.

  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with others on a daily basis.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate for internal and external stakeholders
