Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Latent Print Specialist I  Description This critical position examines and identifies latent prints and provides expert testimony in court proceedings. The employee performs work relative to the identification of latent prints within the Forensic Science Section and provides technical guidance to other personnel involving latent print development, collection, and identification activities. The employee receives supervision from, and reports directly to, the Deputy Director, Forensic Science Section.   $5,000 RELOCATION BONUS: *  Applicant must currently reside more than 50 miles outside of Charles County. * Once hired, the employee must relocate to Charles County or within 25 miles of the county line.   SALARY RANGES: (Based on Level of Experience)  Latent Print Specialist I: $62,102.04-$100,605.18 Latent Print Specialist II: $65,828.10- $106,641.41 Latent Print Specialist III: $70,765.11-$114,639.53     Position Requirements Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to apply:      Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, a Natural Science, or equivalent law enforcement experience. Must have at least five (5) years of experience as a ten-print examiner including a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the comparison of latent and inked fingerprints, or, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. *** Will consider an experienced ten-print examiner in lieu of latent print experience.
