About the Organization Wickham Farms is a family-owned Farm that started as a roadside stand more than 30 years ago and has grown to be a premier location in Western NY for families to immerse themselves in our flower festivals, on farm fun and activities, and enjoy a full fall day of apple and pumpkin picking, and of course the classic cider donut. As we have grown, we feel it is important to always stay true to our agricultural roots while providing the best possible experience for our guests and team members alike. Our mission is to make our working farm a place where guests of all ages can enjoy fun and interactive farm activities, while creating lasting memories together.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the Cleaning & Housekeeping Team, you will be working with teammates to maintain an immaculate venue for our team and our guests. It is your responsibility to continuously exceed the high standards of quality, safety, and world class customer service and cleanliness throughout the farm. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): sweeping & mopping, wiping down surfaces, emptying garbage, straightening up areas, doing laundry and folding items, washing and putting away dishes, cleaning our restrooms, office area, kitchen facilities, and more. This is usually a behind the scenes role. We are hiring adults to help keep our barns, restrooms and grounds clean and orderly, empty the garbages and doing extra tasks as needed. The role requires availability generally before hours of operation and restroom upkeep during hours of operation.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred with cleaning and housekeeping
  • Age 18 and older
  • An eye for detail and enjoy cleaning and organizing
  • Ability to commit to weekend hours preferred
  • An eagerness to learn
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently as well as work as part of a team
  • Ability to interact with the public and Wickham Farms team in a professional, welcoming manner with good communication skills
  • A problem solver who can work in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to smile, laugh and have fun for 4-8 hours

 

Job Requirements:
