Adventure Summary

Crow Shooting Supply is a leading supplier of ammunition, firearms, and shooting accessories to retailers across the United States. As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with existing customers and expanding our customer base, primarily in the northeastern region of the United States. You will work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities, respond to customer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have B2B or B2C sales experience in the rugged outdoor adventure industry, as well as a strong desire to help connect people to their outdoor passions. Special consideration will be given to those who are residents of (or who are willing to relocate to) Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, or Wisconsin. What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular communication, visits, and product presentations
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis and consult with customers to understand their business objectives, pain points, and budget constraints
  • Develop and deliver customized product solutions and programs that align with customers' specific needs and goals
  • Strengthen and develop account base, identify new business opportunities/potential customers within the northeastern region of the United States
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including technical assistance, product training, and problem resolution
  • Coordinate with the sales team to provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and requests for information
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth; communicate sales performance, customer feedback and market trends to sales team/management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product offerings (to include product changes/additions)
  • Represent the company at industry events; may attend trade shows to network with existing customers as well as generate new business
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of consultative sales strategies
  • Provide sales support to existing accounts and obtain new orders; enter orders, quotes, and requests for samples into system for processing; update information in Customer Management tool

 

What You Will Need

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, however additional relevant experience may be substituted
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative sales (experience in shooting sports industry preferred)
  • Ideally 3+ years B2B experience
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building long-term customer relationships through consultative sales strategies

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Product knowledge specific to the firearms and outdoor industry highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and customer needs
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to win
  • Passion for the shooting sports industry and a deep understanding of customer pain points and challenges
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

 

Physical Demands

Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
